Flomaton Speedway held its nightly action last Satruday night, with several races being run.
Speedway promoter NASCAR Ron said the racing was fun for everyone and the crowd seemed to get into it.
Tracy Sutton cruised his way to another victory Saturday night in Flomaton.
Sutton held off Mark Clifton to secure the win and won his second race in his last three starts.
David Odom took home third place, and Tiffany Johnson left Flomaton rounded out the order in fourth place.
Josh Huss still clings his lead in the late model point standings with 645 points, 12 points a head of Mark Clifton who sits in second with 633.
Feature winner Sutton is in third place with 432 points, while Chris Griffin is behind him in fourth with 413. Kevin Maher rounds out the Top 5 with 384.
David Odom sits in sixth place with 351 points, Micha McCall is in the seventh spot with 284, while Heath Gibson and Tiffany Johnson sit tied for eighth with 249. Mike McGee closes out the Top 10 with 211.
Joey Settle raced his way to victory lane in the street stock class Saturday beating out second place Huck Gibson in the No. 20 car.
NASCAR Ron said Settle has been showing up to Flomaton and coming away with strong runs.
Tim Reeves finished in third place, while John Ross crossed the finish line in fourth.
Adam Purvis closed out the Top 5 holding off Brad Lee.
Marty Vann outraced Kenny Parker for seventh place, while David Windham came across the line behind them in ninth.
Daniel Parker finished out the street stock race in 10th.
Bobby Resmondo controls the street stock point standings with 739 points.
Will Findley sits alone in second place with 634 points, while Wayne Hawthorne holds onto third place with 428.
Jarrod Johns’ 387 points are enough to secure fourth place, and Rusty Turner sits 102 points behind Johns with 285.
Tim Reeves is sixth in the street stock points with 254. Evan Folmar hangs onto to seventh by a slim margin with 214 points, while Branden Kilpatrick in eighth closes in with 210.
John Ross (181) and Adam Purvis (172) round out the Top 10.
Matt Chavers took home the checkered flag in the bomber class Saturday night at the Speedway.
NASCAR Ron said Chavers pushed his car hard and showed his worth by picking up the win.
Stephen Fretwell finished behind Chavers in the second position holding off Eddie Hammonds in third.
James Bradley finished the feature race in fourth position, while Joey Chiles ended the night in fifth.
Dean Brooks led the second half of racers across the finish line taking home a sixth place finish.
Jamie Young passed by the checkered flag in seventh place, with Justin Adams finishing on his bumper in eighth.
Al Hardy edged out Matt Edge for ninth with Edge rounding out the Top 10.
Jamie Young sits atop the bomber standings with 656 points, with Eddie hammonds currently in second with 594.
James Bradley is in third with 416, Levi Wales sits in fourth with 330 and Johnnie Baxley rounds out the Top 5 at 298 points.
Andrew Findley controls sixth with 255 points, with Stephen Fretwell his closest competitor in seventh with 224. Doc McDaniel’s 219 points are enough for eighth place. Ken Perry is in ninth with 213 and Justin Adams is in 10th with 194 points.
In the stinger class, Jimmy Boyington took home another victory, and beat out Ronald Ross for the win.
Brian McCreary came in behind Ross in third, and Yancy Dubose ended his night at the track in fourth.
Sherry Rainey finished in the fifth spot, Corey Guage took home sixth and Al Woods closed out the order in seventh.
Jimmy Boyington’s 713 points overwhelm the rest of the stinger class, with his closest opponent being Aaron Kiaunis who has 614 points.
Ronald Ross sits in third with 558 points, while Brian McCreary is on his heels with 556. Corey Guage rounds out the Top 5 with 508 points.
This weekend, Flomaton Speedway hosts its normal program and NASCAR Ron said he hopes to see the fans come in numbers.
He added that a special program is being put together for Oct. 25.
