Northview returns home for the first time in four weeks and hosts Vernon High School in an important region and homecoming match up.
The Chiefs (2-4, 1-1) have fought a tough schedule that has put them on the road five out of their first six games.
This begins a run for the Chiefs who host three of their final four games in Bratt.
Head coach Cody Keene said the Chiefs have to perform better and finish plays.
Vernon (2-4, 0-1) has faced a brutal schedule like the Chiefs, and create a more even match up than either team has faced the last few weeks.
Keene said the strength of the Yellow jackets is their speed at skill positions.
The Chiefs are looking to impress the home crowd and win a huge homecoming game.
Keene said he hopes that all players step up and play to the best of their abilities. He added that a great home crowd would help boost morale and give the guys even more confidence.
Keene knows that this will be a tough game for the Chiefs because of the schedule they play.
Keene said that he never schedules an easy homecoming game and always likes to challenge the players.
The Chiefs and Yellow jackets play at Northview on Friday night. The kickoff is at 7 p.m.
