ATMORE - Ms. Debbie McCurdy, 54, passed away Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008 in Atmore.
Mrs. McCurdy was a native and lifelong resident of Atmore and attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Her parents, Oscar and Annie Stabler; a brother, Elbert Stabler and two sisters, Catherine Wood and Martha Cooper preceded her in death.
Survivors include, three daughters, Angela and Rodney McGhee, Connie and Tony Lambeth and Melinda McCurdy, all of Atmore; five grandchildren; a brother, Andrew Stabler of Atmore and a sister, Linda Floyd of Ellisville, Miss.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Nov. 19, 2008 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Woody Allison officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill cemetery. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be, Henry Lambeth Jr., Darrell Lambeth, Terry Newsome, Mike Newsome, Chris Newsome and Bradley Woods.
