QUEENS, N.Y. – Mrs. Emma Ruth Rudolph-Beasley, 64, of Queens, N.Y. and formerly of Atmore died Friday, Nov. 28, 2008 at Queens Hospital in New York. She was a native of Atmore and lived in New York for more than 40 years. She was a graduate of Escambia County Training School in 1962. She had worked as a medical attendant.
Her husband, Willie James Beasley; parents, Jeff and Ica Rudolph; two sisters, Mary Palmore and Eddie Lee Williams and two brothers, Charles Rudolph and Cleveland Rudolph, preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, two daughters, Angelia S. Montgomery and Sheree B. Webb, both of Atmore; three sisters, Mabel Graham of Pensacola, Fla., Esta Williams of Germany and Rutilia America of Atmore; three brothers, Willie James Rudolph of Reading, Penn., Willie L. Rudolph and Jeff Rudolph, Jr., both of Atmore and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008 at the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Atmore with the Rev. Donald Ray Palmore, eulogist and the Rev. Lucious Fair, pastor. Interment will be held in the Fairview Cemetery.
Public viewing will be held on Friday from 2 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Her body will lie instate at the church for one hour prior to the funeral service with Turner Funeral Chapel LLC directing.
