Fire restaurant at Wind Creek Casino and Hotel is once again on the receiving end of an award, but this time the honor came from the City of Atmore.

Wednesday, Mayor-Elect Jim Staff presented the Fire team with a key to the city only days before the restaurant staff will find out the results of the Cattlemen’s Association’s pick for the number one steakhouse in Alabama. In September Fire was named as one of the top five steakhouses in the state and manager Gene Schnell said the number one choice should be announced Friday or Saturday.
