Agents with the U.S. Marshal's office shut down the Boothe Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep dealership in Atmore Tuesday.
Owner Tommy Boothe was not on the property when seizure papers were served. Agents presented the order to his son, Ashley, according to Atmore Assistant Police Chief Donnie Nunley.
Nunley, Sgt. John Stallworth and Chief Danny McKinley met the agents, truck drivers, movers and loaders at Best Western Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. About 10 a.m., they pulled up at the dealership.
All the vehicles were loaded onto transport trucks.
Nunley learned that the seizure was connected with the Chrysler Corporation, but had no information beyond that.
