GECA to debut ‘And Then There Were None’

Members of the Greater Escambia Council for the Arts, otherwise known as GECA, are once again poised to hit the stage with a new play for theatergoers.

Beginning Friday night at 7 p.m., GECA members will perform Agatha Christie’s “And Then There Were None,” a murder-mystery about a group of strangers trapped in an English resort and beginning to be killed one-by-one.

An encore presentation of the play will also be held over the weekend, with the curtain raising at 7 p.m. Saturday. A third performance will also be held Sunday at 2 p.m.

GECA member Gretchen McPherson will debut her directorial skills for “And Then There Were None,” and cast members will include: Xavier Weidman and Aundrea Harrison as Mr. and Mrs. Rodgers; Dan Johnson as Fred Narracott; Phil Johnson as Sir. Lawrence Wargrave; Paige Wilson as Dr. Victoria Armstrong; Brandon Coburn as Phillip Lombard; Sharon Poulsen as Emily Brent; Bryan Coburn as Anthony Marston; Anna Donald as Vera Claythorne; Tom Jeter as William Blore; Gene Embry as General MacKenzie.

Tickets for the show are on sale at the Atmore News office at 128 S. Main Street.
