ATMORE - Mrs. Patsy Hayles Smith, 68, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at a Mobile hospital.
Patsy was a native of Franklin, a resident of Atmore for the past 33 years and attended the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Survivors include, her husband Almie Smith of Atmore; a son, Ricky and Angie Simpson of Loxley; a daughter, Lisa and Rob Little of Atmore; 4 grandchildren, Sorcha and Trevor Blake of Elberta, Kevin and Nicole Dunlap of Atmore, Jeremy Simpson of Cordova, Tenn. and Benjie Dunlap of Ft. Hood, Texas and four great grandchildren, Ethan Blake, MaLeah Blake, Gavin Blake and Deya Blake.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Davis officiating. Burial followed at Poplar Springs cemetery. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2009 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers were, Jeremy Simpson, Kevin Dunlap, Benjie Dunlap, Trevor Blake, Gary Chong and Lee Chong.
