Geraldine Sharpless Findley, a native of Escambia County, Florida, died Thursday, March 19, in Fairhope, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-six years, Hubert Floyd Findley.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed growing and arranging flowers, watching birds and playing Bridge. She was a volunteer in civic organizations and her church in the communities in which she lived. She moved to Fairhope in 2001, after residing in Atmore, Alabama, and Albany, Georgia.
Survivors include two daughters: Beth Hart (William D.) of Fairhope and Whitefish, Montana, and Julie Reilly (Michael A.) of Atlanta, Georgia; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister; two brothers and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
