Destroyers edge Falcons 15-12

The Atmore Dialysis Destroyers squeaked by the Alto Falcons 15-12 on Monday afternoon in Atmore T-ball action at Johnnie F. Woods Memorial Park.
The teams played an even matched game with both scoring runs at will.
The Destroyers started the game scoring five runs with Sam Smith, Chaz McGhee, Paxton Hobbs, Bryant Quimby and Logan Chavers all crossing the plate.
The Falcons answered with four runs of their own as Chaston Helton, Maddie Presley, Jaylyn Lee and Randal Bonds making the score 5-4.
The Destroyers scored five more runs in the second inning with Smith, McGhee, Hobbs, Quimby and Chavers all scoring for a second time to take a 10-4 lead.
The Falcons made the score 10-8 as Presley, Gage Presley, Lee and Bonds crossed the plate.
In the final inning, the Destoyers added five more runs to the scoreboard as Smith, McGhee, Hobbs, Quimby and Chavers scored their third runs of the game.
The Falcons tried to come back, but could only score four runs as Helton, Maddie Presley, Gage Presley and Bonds scored to end the game 15-12.
Hitters 21
Eagles 9
The Elite Sporting Goods Hitters crushed the Winn-Dixie Eagles 21-9 on Monday in a match up of Atmore T-ball teams.
The Hitters ran away with the game early as Breanna McGowan, Edward Williams, Ayden Bonner, Chase Bell, Drew Shelly, Kameron Bowen, Tomorrion Knight and Shivam all scored to make the game 10-0.
The Eagles could only get three runs in the first to innings as Cameron Long, Kayla Smith and LaDainian Dailey crossed the plate to make the score 10-3.
The Hitters added four more runs in the second inning with Bell, Shelly, Bowen and Knight all scoring their second runs.
The Eagles scored six runs in the third inning to make the score 14-9.
The Hitters finished off the game with seven runs as Breanna McGowan, Williams, Elijah Mallory, Bell, Bowen, Mackenzie Hoover and Skyler Hursh all crossed the plate to pick up the win.
Destroyers 24
Blue Flames 6
The Atmore Dialysis Destroyers watered down the Atmore Utility Blue Flames 24-6 on Friday, April 3 in Atmore T-ball action.
The Destroyers scored consistently throughout the game with Sam Smith, Chaz McGhee and Bryant Quimby leading the team with four runs each.
Paxton Hobbs, Logan Chavers and Jack Edwards all scored three runs for the Destroyers, while Nakieyah Robinson and Jalen Barnes scored the remaining runs.
The Blue Flames’ six runs were scored by Michelle, Saviour Kilpatrick, Devin Morris and Donovan Robinson.
Shockers 21
Falcons 8
The Tri-Co Electric Shockers manhandled the Alto Falcons 24-8 in Atmore T-ball League action on April 3.
The Shockers dominated the first inning scoring nine runs as Dijon Crenshaw, Deonta Stots, Jacobey James, Jaylen Black, Marquez Gaines, Jeffery Wilson, Khedsie Craft and Kenneth Craft all crossed the plate.
The Falcons scored five runs in the first inning with Chaston Helton, Maddie Presley, Jaylyn Lee, Trey Bradley and Randal Bonds all made it around the base path.
In the second inning, the Shockers added six runs with Crenshaw, James, Black, Gaines, Wilson, and Khedsie Craft all scored.
The Falcons only added one run in the second inning as Helton scored his second run of the game.
The Shockers put an end to the match up as Crenshaw, Stots, James, Black, Gaines, Wilson and Khedsie Craft all scored again.
The Falcons only scored two runs in the final ining with Bonds and Braxton Peebles scored.
