With the Easter holiday over, no spring fashion is off limits and Atmore retailers have a wide variety of new items to fit everyone’s style.
Tracey Miller, owner of accessory and gift boutique Jus Because, said more than a single item, it’s bright colors that are dominating this season’s most fashionable items.
Miller mentioned bright yellows, purples, oranges, turquoises, pinks and greens as being especially popular.
Miller said in particular she has sold a lot of bright pink purses. She recommends Hobo purses as being a “hot” item and said the bigger and slouchier the bag the better.
Rachel Brown, owner of Country Charms, said at her store the biggest seller has been bright yellow purses, and while they are not a new item, her animal print purses are still popular this season.
Another popular animal print item is flip-flops, according to Angela Leachman, owner of the salon Angela &Co.
Leachman sells accessory items at her salon and said the top seller has been Yellow Box flip-flops, with polka dot and animal print being the biggest sellers.
Miller also sells Yellow Box flip-flops and also has SwitchFlops. SwitchFlops is a flip-flop that features interchangeable velcro straps.
While SwitchFlops make it easy to change up an outfit, Brown said another sure-fire way to liven up an ensemble is with the right jewelry.
Miller suggested big earrings, layered necklaces and statement (those with a big pendant) necklaces as accessory items for this season.
Carl Anderson, owner of Tot Shop, said one particular clothing item, and in more than just one style, has been very popular this year.
Whether it’s a new purse, necklace or dress, you cannot go wrong with bright colors this season.
