Zollie May McGhee

ATMORE – Ms. Zollie Mae McGhee, 82, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 in Atmore.
Zollie was native and lifelong resident of Atmore. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved and helped others in need, and attended the Friendly Holiness Church.
An infant son, Aaron McGhee, preceded her in death.
Survivors include, two sons, Odell and Yvette McGhee and Marion and Janet McGhee, both of Atmore; two daughters, Geraldine McGhee of Atmore and Brensa
and Terry Hupp of Middleburg, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; a number of greatgrandchildren; four brothers, Buddy Smith of Pensacola, Fla., Billy and Ronnie Smith, both of McDavid, Fla. and Dudley Smith of Starke, Fla.; threesisters, Eunice Nall of Pensacola, Fla., Judy Fay Amos of Cococa, Fla. and Joyce Smith of Bratt, Fla. and her nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2009 at the Friendly Holiness Church with the Rev. Ray Ward officiating. Burial followed at New Home cemetery with Petty Funeral Homes, LLC directing. Visitation was held from 6 p.m .until funeral time at the Friendly Holiness Church. Pallbearers were, Jospeh Hupp, Chris Wilcox, Bruce Vickery, Wayne McCurdy, Horace Jackson, Mike Mills and Kenneth Wilkins. Honorary pallbearers were, Brandan Peavy and Keith Carter.
