ROBERTSDALE - Huey A. Mack Sr., 71, a native of McCullough and a resident of Robertsdale died Friday, May 15, 2009.
Mr. Mack was owner of Mack Funeral Home, Inc. founded in 1965, and Coroner of Baldwin County for 28 years, past president of Alabama’s Funeral Director’s Association, past president of Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, past president of Robertsdale Rotary Club and past board member of Selected Independent Funeral Homes.
Survivors include, his wife, Jean Marie Mack of Robertsdale; daughter, Linda Lou Mack of Bay Minette; son; Huey A. “Hoss” (Sherri Racine) Mack Jr. of Silverhill; sister, Judy (Jerry) Linam of Sevierville, Tenn.; brother, Arnold (Brenda) Mack of Lake Wales, Fla.; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2009 at the Robertsdale United Methodist Church with the Rev. George Sedberry, the Rev. Ronald Nunn and Father William James officiating. Burial will be in the Baldwin Memorial cemetery in Robertsdale.
A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today, May 17, 2009 at Mack Funeral Home. Family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials are made to the Robertsdale United Methodist Church P.O. Box 866 Robertsdale, AL. 36567 or Robertsdale Rotary Club P.O. Box 1133 Robertsdale, AL. 36567.
