LITTLE RIVER - Mr. Charles Mabryn McMillan, 60, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2009 at a Mobile hospital.
Charles was a native and lifelong resident of Little River. He was a veteran of Vietnam with the Marines, and employee of Gate-Precast and attended the Little River Baptist Church.
Survivors include, his wife, Emily Montez McMillan of Little River; two sons, Jack and Ann McMillan of Little River and William Joey Selzer of Little River; two daughters, Linda and Brian Till of Molino, Fla. and Glenda Stewart of Little River; 8 grandchildren and his sister, Ruth and Bobby Emmons of Little River.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2009 at the Little River Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Thorpe, the Rev. Buddy Williams and the Rev. Wayne McMillan officiating. Burial followed at Phillips cemetery. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers were, Tim Williams, Michael Booker, Nick Booker, William Brown, Ronnie Williams and Curtis Williams. Honorary pallbearers were, Terry Cast, Jerry Cast, Paul Lee and Wayne Hubbard.
