Relay for Life 2001 ready to roll

The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life 2001 is only days away.
Friday night, hundreds of people will invade Tom Byrne Park for a 12-hour Relay event, capping months of fund-raising activites.
This year's goal is $85,000, a goal that Relay Chairman Judy Pylate has in her sights.
The evening kicks off at 5:30 p.m., with the survivors' reception. Opening ceremonies are at 6 p.m. Games, entertainment and activities will take place throughout the night. Closing ceremonies begin at 5:30 a.m., with the presentation of awards and the final lap.
This year's sponsors are:
