Cardinals fly past Cubs, 26-8

The Atmore Vision Center Cardinals racked up 26 runs to defeat the Maxwell-Haley-Castleberry Cubs on June 2, 26-8.
Trey Grant led the Cards' offense with four runs. Steven Brown, Jacob Rackard, Austin Lee and Clay Kirby scored three runs each. Cameron McGhee, Adam Respress and Brett Wilkins scored two runs each. John Dickson, Dalton Phillips, Tyler Boartwright and John Alaine also scored.
Marshall Rolin, Blake Moye, and Derrick Day scord two runs each for the Cubs. Ryan Linam and Cody Mooney also scored.
Bears 16, Lions 4
The Edgar Business Machine Bears notched another victory as they defeated the Swift Supply Lions, 16-4, on June 2.
Cedric Pierce led the Bears' offense with three runs. Tanner Kirk, Mitch Yoder, Robert Poole, Tyler Hostetler and Chris Smith each scored two runs. Suvrat Soni, Kenny English and Nick Dailey also scored.
Brad Mitchell, Mike Campbell, Buddy Valentine and Garry Barnes scored for the Lions.
Beavers 24, Cubs 7
The Staff Chevrolet Beavers earned a 24-7 win over the Maxwell-Haley-Castleberry Cubs on June 2.
Nick Flowers, Haden McGill, Jon Dean and Josh Peoples led the Beaver offense with three runs each. Gavin Salter, Dillian Oversteet, Cody James, Clayton Johnson and Colby White scored two runs each. Garrett Walley and James Dean also scored.
Marshall Rolin and Cody Mooney led the Cubs with two runs each. Blake Moye, Riley Workman and Wesley Webb also scored.
