MARIETTA - Mrs. Estelle Liles of Golden Living Retirement Home in Marietta formerly of Oak Grove, Fla. passed away Monday Aug. 31.
A longtime resident of Oak Grove, Fla. Mrs. Liles was employed as a nurse at Greenlawn Hospital in Atmore. She was a member of the Rock and Gem Club in Pensacola, Fla. and the Domino Club in Oak Grove, Fla. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Oak Grove, Fla.
Survivors include daughters, Ann Christian of Tallassee and Sue Dean of Smyrna, Ga.; twin sister, Ethel Gibbs of Daphne; grandchildren, Wes (Denise) Christian, Kenny Dean and Sage Dean; great granddaughter, Madison Dean and many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3 at the Eastside Chapel in Atmore with the Rev. Roy Chewning and the Rev. Ron Turner officiating. Interment will be held in Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009 at the Funeral Home.
