A former Atmore resident appeared in the production of “The Lawd Done Sent Me a Man” this past weekend on the stage at her Alma Mater. And, she said, the reception couldn’t have been better.
Paula Logan, a 1984 graduate of Escambia County High School, brought a group of actors and actresses to perform for the Atmore and surrounding areas.
Logan said the presentation was made possible by several groups and individuals.
Logan said some of her former classmates also helped with getting the word out about the presentation.
The production has been received well throughout the Southeast, Logan said.
Logan said she had plans to bring the play to Atmore and was happy to be able to do so.
Logan said sponsors made the production possible in many ways.
Logan also said local groups opened for the program with great reception from the audience.
Logan said she hopes to bring the play back to the Atmore area at sometime in the future.
