MINEOLA - Mrs. Willie Evelian Baggett Stacey, 83, of Mineola died Oct. 17, 2009 at Monroe County Hospital.
Mrs. Stacey was a lifelong resident of Monroe County, lived in Mineola. Mrs. Stacey was a homemaker and a member of Mineola Baptist Church.
Her husband, Claudie Stacey and her infant daughter, Sandra Kaye Stacey, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Billy (Linda) Stacey of Mineola and James (Kellean) Booneville; four daughters, Inez (James) Graham of Mineola, Evelian (Jimmy) Lambert of Goodway, Nettie (Sam) McKinley of Mineola and Faye (Mick) Hansen f Daphne; four brothers, Barnie Baggett of Mineola, Joe Baggett of Jackson, Jessie Baggett of Uriah and James Baggett of Mineola; one sister, Anna Mae Tuberville of Uriah; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, 2009 at Mineola Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob McKenzie and the Rev. Marlon Brown officiating.
Interment followed in Mineola Baptist Cemetery. Visitation was held from noon until 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, 2009.
