A precautionary boil water notice for the City of Atmore Water System has been lifted.
The notice had been issued Dec. 15 for the residents of Sardis Church Road, Moye Drive, Little George Road, Howard Page Road, Vine Road and others in that area.
Samples show that the water is now safe to drink, according to the water system.
