BREWTON – Mr. Stephen Craig Harrison, 53, of Douglas Avenue Brewton passed away Friday, Jan. 30, 2010. He was born in Opp; was a native of Florala, was a former resident of Daphne and was a longtime resident of Brewton.
He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was an avid golfer, motorcyclist and Alabama Crimson Tide fan. Mr. Harrison was a member of First United Methodist Church of Brewton, past president of Escambia County Insurance Association and was manager, unit manager and sales manager of Liberty National Life Insurance Company.
Survivors include his mother, Joyce Jeanette Harrison of Florala; wife, Melanie McDaniel Harrison of Brewton; son, Brandon McDaniel Harrison (Amy Lou Bean Harrison) of Idaho Falls, Idaho; daughter, Savannah Elise Harrison of Brewton, maternal grandmother, Alma Nobles Vosjonovich of Florala; sister, Deidre Harrison Tillotson of Houston; niece, Courtney Leigh Tillotson of Houston and great nephew, Ace Everett Dalton.
Visitation will be held from noon until 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church of Brewton.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church of Brewton with Dr. Ed Glaize and the Rev. Ashley Davis officiating. Internment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Florala with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.
