A white male was injured in a one-vehicle accident just after 2 p.m. Tuesday when he lost control of his Chevy Silverado 4X4, while traveling on East Ridgeley Street.
In the crash, the driver, who has not been identified, struck a power pole snapping it in half.
Atmore Ambulance personnel transported the driver to Atmore Community Hospital.
