Mr. Eugene McLain, Jr., 86, a resident of Georgiana died Friday, Feb. 19, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010 at 2 p.m. from Antioch West Baptist Church with Rev. Watson Wasden officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch West Baptist Church Cemetery with Dunklin &Daniels Funeral Home directing. Mr. McLain will lie in state at the church from 1:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at Dunklin &Daniels Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Survivors include: son: Braxton McLain (Michell) of Elberta, three granddaughters: Gena Wirth, Miranda McLain Harrison, Marissa McLain, two sisters: Gladys Helton of Atmore, AL, Annie Lou Godwin of Brewton, brother: Dennis Earl McLain of Dallas, Ga., nieces and nephews.
