Senior citizens of Mobile Infirmary and Thomas Hospital, all of Mobile, were given a treat when they decided to come to Atmore to learn more about us. Sheryl Vickery, director of the Atmore Chamber of Commerce, received a call asking if someone would be available to give them a tour of Atmore.
The group enjoyed the older homes. The Owen-Lufkin house on Main Street is listed on the Alabama Registry of Historic Places.
