Lady Rams fall to Santa Rosa, pick up first-ever win

With a win under their belts, the Atmore Christian School Lady Rams faced off against the Santa Rosa Christian School Lady Lions Thursday night for the second time this season falling 7-2.
The Lady Rams (1-2) hung tight with the Lady Lions through the first two innings of the game only allowing two runs, while scoring one of their own.
The Lady Rams run came in the second inning as Kendra Beach reached base on a single and was knocked in by Narisa Wiggins’ RBI-single.
After the Lady Rams got on the board, the flood gates opened as the Lady Lions went on to score five more runs, with three of those coming in the third inning, on their way to the win.
The Lady Ram would add one more run in the fifth inning with Kaysie Malone getting on base with a single and being knocked in by Beachy’s RBI-triple.
The Lady Rams next game is Friday, March 26 at home at 6 p.m.

Atmore Christian School’s Lady Rams softball team picked up a monumental first win as they defeated the West Florida Baptist Conquerors 8-7.
The Lady Rams (1-1) were able to explode offensively as they scored runs in four out of seven innings.
Leading the Lady Rams offensively was Kaysie Malone who hit 2-for-4 with a triple, a single and two runs scored in the win.
Other Lady Rams involved offensively included Taylor West (1-for-4, R) and Ashley Scmidt (1-for-3, 2 R).
