Through 18 games of the 2010 season, the Escambia County Blue Devils baseball team is still searching for their identity as they have only been able to pull off four wins in what is their second straight season with a new baseball coach.
The Blue Devils (4-14, 0-3) have been fighting and close in most games, but have not had the depth to gain any kind of momentum.
First-year head coach Jason Barnett said he has learned one sure thing about his team.
With the learning curve still affecting the Blue Devils, they have still been a ble to keep several of their losses close.
Barnett said that his team has a lot of fight in them, and all he wants to see from this is a full effort every day.
The Blue Devils’ next game is today in Mobile at Vigor High School at 11:30 a.m.
