Mrs. William J. Davidson, 77, died Thursday, August 9, 2001, at a Mississippi Hospital.
He was a native of Excel and resident of Atmore for the past 5 years. He was a veteran of WWII and attended the Baptist church.
Davidson is survived by his uncle, "Nub" Dorriety of Atmore; his aunt, Mellie Daughtry of Atmore and a number of cousins.
Graveside services were held Sunday, August 12 at 3 p.m. at Monroeville Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. J. D. Renfroe officiating.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
