Sandi M. Boone is the newest addition to The Atmore Advance staff after settling into her new role as advertising consultant Monday.
Boone, the former Sandi M. Donald of Nokomis, will oversee a majority of the advertising accounts handled by The Advance. She said she is ready to hit the ground running.
Boone, who resides in Atmore, graduated from Baldwin County High School and worked for many years at the Atmore branch of Regions Bank as a financial sales specialist. While with Regions, she enjoyed working with the company’s Relay for Life team. She most recently served as a preschool teacher at First Baptist Church of Atmore Daycare.
Boone decided to get back into sales after a few years off to spend time with her children. She said the newspaper business is something that she has always been interested in.
Atmore Newspapers, Inc. publisher Adam Prestridge said he looks forward to Boone working with The Advance staff.
Boone and her husband, Patrick have two children, Tanner, 6, and Mylee, 4 1/2 months.
During her free time, Boone enjoys spending time with family, going to the beach and spending time outdoors.
