The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office received 198 complaints for Aug. 24-30. They also responded to seven domestic calls and provided transportation for 26. The office served 153 civil papers, provided one domestic escort, and four funeral escorts.

Aug. 28
• Katral M. James, 23, male, of Old Freemanville Drive, Atmore, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance; possession of marijuana, first degree; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Carlton Amos, 66, male, of Wilbond Road, Perdido, was charged with theft of property, first degree.
• Jeremy Boggan, 27, male, of Patterson Street, Atmore, was charged with failure to appear.
