Officials with OneBlood, formerly known as North Florida Blood Services, said they enjoyed a strong turnout for a blood drive held Monday in Atmore.
The OneBlood mobile bus station was on hand at Atmore Community Hospital from 2 until 6 p.m. Tuesday, taking care of volunteers who took time from their day to donate.
OneBlood supplies all blood and blood products to the Atmore hospital and said all blood types are needed any time a donation center is on site.
The OneBlood mobile station is scheduled to be in the Atmore area again on the following dates: Tuesday, Oct. 29 at Alto Products Corp.; Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Walnut Hill Fire Department; Monday, Nov. 25 at Atmore Community Hospital; Tuesday, Nov. 26 at the Poarch Creek Indian Health Department.
