Perdido runners place first

The Perdido Middle School boys’ cross-country team was named Baldwin County champions after a meet on Monday.
Four Perdido runners finished in the top four spots in the county meet. They were Josh Booker, Zach Johns, John David Neutze and P.J. Jackson. Dagan New finished seventh. All five runners were all-county selections.
Perdido’s girls’ team member and all-county selection Olivia Trawick finished first in the county meet.
Other members finished well including: Lejour Cruse in 12th, Tabitha Pittman in 25th and Hannah Bailey in 26th.
The boys’ team also finished first in the Catman Walk held at Orange Beach earlier this year. Bailey and Rebecca Booker were team managers.
