The Escambia County High School boys’ basketball team improved to 3-1 on the season, with a 61-45 win over Vigor in Pritchard on Tuesday.

Desmond Williams led the team with 25 points on 11-of-15 shooting. Melik McMillan added 12 points on 6-of-18 shooting, while Jarvis Knight chipped in eight points on 3-of-11 shooting.

Other Blue Devils’ scorers were Akeem Gray, Garrett Jackson, Chille Ford, Ja’Corian Shavers, Anthony Fountain and DyQwan Lee.

McMillan led the team with 15 rebounds, including nine on offense and six on defense. Williams added 12 boards for the Blue Devils and Fountain had seven.
Williams also added two blocks and five steals to the stat sheet.

The Blue Devils will travel to Monroeville on Friday to face Monroe County.
