U.S. Rep. Bradley Byrne, who represents the district that includes Escambia County, will visit Atmore next week for an official “town hall meeting.”

The meeting will be Tuesday, Feb. 18, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the Atmore Municipal Auditorium in city hall.

“I want to hear directly from my friends and neighbors on what I can do to be a better representative of our community’s voice,” Byrne said. “I said I would work hard every day to connect with my constituents and learn the issues to be able to hit the ground running, and we are continuing to make good on that pledge.

“I look forward to listening, learning and leading a constructive discussion with our friends and neighbors in south Alabama.”

Byrne will also speak earlier in the day at the Brewton City Hall from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
