Blue Flames on fire in 19-0 win

The Atmore Utilities Blue Flames were on fire Monday night as they were able to shutout the Tri-Co Electric Shockers 19-0 in Atmore Cal Ripken T-ball action at Tom Byrne Park.
The Blue Flames opened the game with an eight-run first inning as T.J. Pettway, Duke Pettway, Ayden Bonner, Anthony McCants, Luke Bell, Jacorrian Forney, Brian Brown, Chris Johnson and Logan Faith scored runs.
The Shockers could not find an answer offensively in their half of the inning as they were able to get three runners on base will two of them stranded on base to end the inning.
The Blue Flames continued their dominance of the game in the top of the second with Bonner, McCants, Bell, Forney, Brown and Coker all scoring to put their team’s lead to 13.
The Shockers could only get one runner on base in the bottom of the second with James McElhaney ripping a single but not making it past second base before the inning ended.
Six runs in the top of the third put the game away as the Blue Flames were able to get their total to 19 with T.J. Pettway, Duke Pettway, McCants, Bell, Forney and Brown each scored to pu the final at 19-0.

Ten runs were enough for the Cornerstone Homebuilders Nailers as they outlasted the Atmore Utilities Blue Flames 10-8 in Atmore Cal Ripken T-ball action on Friday at Tom Byrne Park.
The Nailers opened the game on a good note as they tok the lead 2-0 with Kayne Hooks and Carmelo Turner scoring.

The Blue Flames responded with three runs of their own as Jake Coker, Anthony McCants and Ayden Bonner all scored.
Four runs in the top of the second helped the Nailers take the lead again 6-3 as Hooks, Turner, Haven Dean and J.T. Alaniz scoring runs.
The Blue Flames could not capitalize in the bottom of the inning only scoring one run via Payton Gilchrist.
The Nailers added four more runs in the final inning as Houston Hartley, Ty Robinson, Hooks and Turner all scored.
The Blue Flames tried to mount a comeback in the bottom of the third, but could only get four runs with Bonner, Brian Brown, Chris Johnson and Kinkade Hadley scoring.
