The Atmore Rotary Club held its first annual benefit clay shoot Saturday morning at Bushy Creek Clays in Perdido. All proceeds benefit the club and its projects.

The winner of the first flight was Special Touch Fire & Water Restoration, and the winner of the second flight was Johnson Ford.

The clay shoot is the Rotary’s biggest fundraiser of the year, taking the place of the Fiddlers’ Convention. Organizers said they hope for the clay shoot to become an annual event, because it is something unique that very few other area organizations offer.
