Bessie Wallace

Mrs. Bessie Rean Wallace, 94, of Atmore, entered in the Heavenly Gates on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at the Atmore Nursing Care Center.

A native of Columbus, Ga., Mrs. Wallace lived many years in New Jersey before relocating to Atmore.
She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Moorestown, N.J. She retired from Medford Leas Retirement Community in New Jersey.

Those left to cherish her beautiful memories are two daughters, Virginia Brooks of Mt. Holly, N.J. and Norma Wallace of Grants, N.M.; five sons, Thomas Wallace Jr., and the Rev. Dr. Coleman Wallace Sr. of Atmore, Alvin Wallace of Trenton, N.J., Harry Wallace of Willingboro, N.J. and Harold Wallace of Burlington, N.J.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 2, at the Second Baptist Church in Moorestown, N.J., with the Rev. Dr. Coleman Wallace, eulogist, and the Rev. Curtis A. Haynes, pastor.

Retirement of her remains will be in the Princeton Memorial Park in Princeton, N.J., with May Funeral Home directing and Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC, directing locally.
