Frances Kaupp Sasser died on Wednesday, May 28, 2014.
She was born and raised in New Orleans, La., and lived in Atmore for the past nine years. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church.

She had five sons, Gerald Sasser Jr., Joseph Sasser, Michael Sasser, Christopher Sasser and the late Richard Sasser; and nine daughters, Carole Jones, Karen Sheehan, Kathie Reagan, Bonnie Martin, Mary Smith, Denise White, Valerie Bobo, Jacqueline Armentor and Renee Walsh. She also had 30 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations for ovarian cancer research, Parkinson’s disease research or diabetes research would be greatly appreciated.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at Unity Baptist Church in Atmore.
