Woman injured in Forest Hill crash

A woman was injured Tuesday afternoon when the car she was driving left the roadway and crashed into a ravine on Forest Hill Drive.
According to Atmore Police Department officers at the scene, the female driver lost control of her Mercury Mystique GS around 12:35 p.m. as she entered Forest Hill Drive off Brookwood Drive, ran off the roadway and came to rest in a watery ravine.
Paramedics with Atmore Ambulance transported the woman to Atmore Community Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
