Lee Edward Bullard

Mr. Lee Edward Bullard, 79, of Atmore, transitioned from earth to glory on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, at Atmore Community Hospital.
He was a native of Baldwin County and a resident of Atmore for most of his life. He attended Escambia County Training School and was a retired construction laborer. He was a member of New Generation Missionary Baptist Church and he loved to fish.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria English; two sons, Ronald A. Bullard and Larry Leslie; his parents, James B. and Clara Bullard; two sisters, Emily Montgomery and Rosie Lee Mitchell; and one brother, Carl Bullard.
Those left to cherish memories of his life are his son, Roy (Mary) Bullard of Ocean Springs, Miss.; four sisters, Mary Dailey and Clara Young, both of Atmore, Minnie Evans of Birmingham and Helen Cook of Pensacola, Fla.; three brothers, James Bullard Jr. of Atlanta, Ga., and John Henry Bullard and Eddie James Bullard, both of Atmore; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at New Generation Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Donzell Young, pastor, officiating.
Retirement of his remains will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
Public viewing will be held Friday, Aug. 8, from 2 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC, directing.
