Mrs. Mary Ann Snow, 74, of Uriah, died Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, in a Mobile hospital.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Uriah and a 1957 graduate of J.U. Blacksher High School. She was a member of the Uriah Baptist Church and a retired employee of United Bank.

Those who preceded her in death include her parents, John Earnest Brown and Edna Mae Williams Brown; her brother, Jimmy Harold Brown; and one grandson, Shane Cumbie.

She is survived by her husband, George Snow of Uriah; one son, Eddie (Hollie) Snow of Uriah; one daughter, Darlene (Mike) Cumbie of Little River; five grandchildren, Jennifer Jeter, Erin Simpson, Cody Cumbie, Mary Elizabeth Snow and Bailey Snow; and two great-grandchildren, Darleigh Jeter and Jalen Jeter.

Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 4, at 3 p.m., from the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Whittington, the Rev. Mike Grindle and the Rev. Don Barnes officiating. Interment was held in the Poplar Springs Cemetery in Uriah. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, at Johnson Funeral Home.
