Janice Marie Harris, 43, of Atmore, passed away Oct. 3, 2014, in Robinsonville.

She was a registered nurse, graduating from Jefferson Davis Community College, born in Atmore on Jan. 16, 1971, to Leo and Verna Mae Harrison Harris. She was employed by The Meadows and Oakwood Nursing Home in Bay Minette.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Verna Mae Harrison.

She is survived by her father, Leo Harris of Atmore; her siblings, Tammy Harris of Molino, Fla., Judy Harris of Atmore and Jerry Harris of Stockton; four nieces and nephews, Krystal Harris, Daniel Pierce, Heather Moize and Justin Harris; and a companion, Hollis McKinley of Robinsonville.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Nov. 1, at 3 p.m., from the Atmore Church of God, with the Rev. David Harrison officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the United Bank in memory of Janice.
