A Fairhope man was killed early Thursday morning, after a single-vehicle crash on Escambia County Highway 1.

According to Trooper Jamie L. Maloy of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, 58-year-old Larry Kenneth Little of Fairhope died in a crash at 1:15 a.m. Thursday on County Highway 1, about four miles west of McCullough.

The 2008 Chevrolet, in which Little was a passenger, left the roadway and overturned. Little, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, 32-year-old Michael Joseph Holcomb Jr. of Summerdale, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.

No other information was available, as the Alabama State Troopers are continuing to investigate the crash.
