An Atmore man was killed early Sunday morning in a car crash in Baldwin County.

Trooper Jamie Maloy said that 24-year-old Cameron Joseph Turner was killed in the accident, which took place at 2:20 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, on U.S. Highway 90 near the 76 mile marker, approximately 13 miles west of Robertsdale.

According to Maloy, Turner was ejected when his 2015 Mazda 6 left the roadway, and struck a sign post and tree before overturning. Turner was not wearing a seat belt.

No further information was made available, as the ALEA State Troopers are continuing to investigate.
