Family loses home in fire

An Atmore family lost their home Sunday morning in a fire at the North Main Mobile Home Park.
According to a report from the Atmore Fire Department, firefighters responded at 10:10 a.m. Sunday to a fire at 1106 N. Main St., in one of the mobile homes in the park. Otosha Brown was renting the mobile home, and she was living in it with her children, firefighters said.
The single-wide house trailer was determined to be a “complete loss.” The cause of the fire is still undetermined and is under investigation.
The Red Cross was called in to assist Brown and her three children, firefighters said. Nobody was injured in the fire.
The Poarch Creek Volunteer Fire Department and Atmore Ambulance also responded.
