Rex Miller Raley, 33, of Elberta, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015, in Atmore.

He was employed in sales, born in Mobile on Nov. 16, 1981, to Carl Hagood and Hope Elizabeth Miller Raley Jr. He was a graduate of Huntingdon College with a degree in Business. Rex was an athlete and an avid outdoorsman.

Survivors are his mother, Hope Miller Zeanah of Elberta; father Carl Hagood (Sara) Raley Jr. of Elberta; grandparents, James and Charlotte Miller of Robinsonville and Betty Raley of Atmore; sister, Holly Raley (Barrett) VanSise of Fairhope; uncle Russell Miller of Robinsonville; nephew Sillivan VanSise and niece Graysen VanSise.

Services were held Sunday March 8, at 4 p.m. from the First United Methodist Church of Atmore with the Rev. Debora Bishop and Bro. Richard Crawford officiating. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Barrett VanSise, Matthew Peyer, Matthew Burgess, Fred Woerner, Dusty Cole, Hooper Matthews and Wade Matthews.

The family received friends, Sunday March 8, at the First United Methodist Church of Atmore from 2:30 p.m., until the service time at 4 p.m.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc., was in charge of all arrangements.
