Inez Andrews-Lee Nichols, 60, passed away on April 8, 2015.
She was the eighth child of Sammie and Clara Bell Andrews, born on Jan. 20, 1955. She was educated in Escambia County School System and continued education in certified nursing in New York; she later received a degree in medical billing and coding at Reid State Technical College.
She gave her life to Christ at an early age at Mt. Gillard Baptist Church and later in her adult life joined Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, serving on the Usher Board.
Her parents, Sammie and Clara Bell Andrews, and one daughter, Quintornilla Lee, preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories a husband, Robert Nichols; two daughters, Monica Andrews of Atmore and Felecia (Dale) Sellers of Gautier, Miss.; one son, Akavia (CoCo) Lee; four brothers and four sisters, Sammie (Betty) Andrews Jr., Resindia Andrews Watkins, Bernice Andrews (George) Nettles, Thomas Lee (Deloris) Andrews, Willie (Maive) Andrews, Shirley Andrews (late Jessie Jr.) Hinton, Pauline Andrews, MacArthur (Yulonda) Andrews; eight grandchildren, Jevel, Montisha, Coery, LaDarron, Kierra, Akavia Jr., Jalecia and JaMarcus; two great-grandchildren; four stepdaughters; two stepsons; a devoted lifelong friend, Dixie Adam and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, from Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in Atmore, with the Rev. Michael Wilson, pastor, officiating. Interment will be held in Stallworth Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her nephews and flower bearers will be her nieces.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Mayberry Funeral Home.
