Eddie L. Tullis was elected as the treasurer for the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, during a runoff election held Saturday.
Tullis received a total of 578 votes, defeating challenger Gia Langham. Langham received 342 votes. There were four votes for write-in candidates.
Langham and Tullis advanced to the runoff after neither received a large enough majority in the June 6 general election.
