Little named best DL at All-Star game

Escambia Academy’s Geovoni Little won Most Outstanding Defensive Lineman honors for the west team at the AISA All-Star game, which was held last Friday.
Little and the west team fell to the East All-Stars 36-27.
Other than Little, Bradley Campbell, H.T. Fountain and Josh Field played in the game.
EA head football coach Hugh Fountain was the administrative coach.
The Cougars finished their regular season 7-5 and in the first round of the AISA Class 3A state playoffs.
EA fell at Lee-Scott, who ended up finishing in the state semifinals.
The Most Outstanding Running Back was Daniel Green of Edgewood Academy for the East team; and Hayden Huckabee of Marengo Academy for the West team.
The Most Outstanding Defensive Back was Jordan Jones of Bessemer Academy for the East team; and Cole Griffin of Monroe Academy for the West team.
The Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman was Mike Williams of Bessemer on the East team; and Trey Carter of Monroe Academy of the West team.
Other than Little, Justin Buchta was named Most Outstanding Defensive Lineman on the East team.
