The rain is here to stay in Atmore as the National Weather Service is predicting more rain in the next week’s forecast.

Early Monday morning, the rain chance is slated to be 60 percent. During the day, there is a 100 percent chance of rain. Showers and thunderstorms may occur before 3 p.m.

There is a 40 percent chance of showers, mainly before midnight tomorrow.

The chance of rain on Tuesday falls at 20 percent during the day and 70 percent after midnight.

On Wednesday, the rain chance is 80 percent during the day and 60 percent at night.

For the rest of the week, the percentage chance of rain falls to 40 on Thursday, and 20 on New Year’s Day.

While the rain has been cumbersome for many in the state, the temperatures are expected to fall, according to NOAA.

The low is expected to fall around 36 degrees on Friday, and 37 on Saturday night. Highs are expected to be around the 50s during the weekend.
