An Atmore man was killed early Saturday morning when the car in which he was riding wrecked on County Road 2 near Flomaton, state troopers said.

The driver and another passenger were injured in the accident, which occurred at about 3:40 a.m. Saturday.

Emmanuel Markay Rivers, 19, of Atmore was killed in the one-car accident involving a 1995 Ford Crown Victoria. He was taken to D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Injured were driver Cardarryl Delloyd Johnson, 21, of Atmore, Trenetra Zakiya White, 19, of Atmore. Both were taken to Atmore Community Hospital, troopers said.
